Berrylicious Beet Smoothie with Shatavari

Hello! It’s been a minute since I’ve been here. You know how it goes, too much to do, all priorities. Now, we’re nearly two weeks in to a long awaited month in the UK, visiting with family and traveling about, and suddenly, there’s space to breeeeathe. Isn’t that just the loveliest feeling—the one of EXHALE?

Space to breathe is an understatement on this particular day, because we’ve been gifted with the purest luxury of staying in a cozy cottage alongside a remote Loch Katrine. This morning, Dave paddled 7 miles on the loch at 6 am, then came back to get me as support while I got in a cold but invigoratingly peaceful swim. Over the course of three hours between those two, we didn’t see a soul.

Berry Beet Smoothie with Shatavari

Per 1 smoothie

1 medium banana, cut into chunks and frozen
1 Cup frozen strawberries, or mixed berries
⅓ Cup grated raw beetroot (feel free to use cooked)
1 Cup plant milk of choice ½ Teaspoon (2 Capsules) ORGANIC INDIA Shatavari
Optional: ¼ Cup yogurt of choice

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
