Chyawanprash-inspired Amla Jam

Who says you need loads of sugar for jammy delight? Chia lovers know, you don’t even need pectin for a superb spread, and one bursting with potent goodness, to boot. For an alternative—or complement—to chia charm, try this easy jammy option starring Organic India Tulsi Immune Daily tea and rejuvenating superfruit Amla.

Sweetness with a touch of tang and warm, spicy notes, this cozy concoction offers a perfect antioxidant-rich boost. Inspired by Chyawanprash, an ancient and beloved herbal formula known for its protective health benefits, this lip-smacking smoothness is brimming with powerful ingredients, including Organic India Ceylon Cinnamon and Trikatu. It’s lovely over toast, as a fruity dip, stirred into yogurt or porridge, or even into your morning latte. And, it only takes minutes to make–all you need to do is steep and blend.

An ayurvedic health supplement, traditional Chyawanprash blends a multitude of nutrient-rich herbs, with Amla (Indian gooseberries) typically serving as the main ingredient. While fresh Amla isn’t always accessible, the wealth of health benefits are. Organic India’s Amla supplement harnesses the superfood’s potency, known for promoting heart health, providing anti-aging effects, supporting immune function, and protecting heart health.

Here, Amla is paired with another antioxidant-rich berry; cranberries lend a lovely red color, but feel free to swap in blueberries for a summery twist. In lieu of sugar and oil or ghee, this recipe blends in Medjool dates and raisins, soaked in Tulsi Immune Daily Tea. Both Organic India’s Traditional Spice and Ayurvedic Spice varieties work harmoniously with the other ingredients. Enjoy the subtle peppery piquancy that comes with a pinch of liver-supporting Trikatu and the full-bodied comfort of blood-sugar regulating Ceylon Cinnamon. The symphony of flavors belies the simplicity of the spread, but aligns perfectly with the wealth it delivers!

Simply a symphony of flavor!
